Due to personal reasons, The OneUps is now down to 5 members. The violin player (Greg Kennedy) has removed himself from the band. This change will directly change who maintains this community.

If you would like to step in and take charge of the community, leave a comment here or message Greg Kennedy at kennedy (dot) greg (at)gmail.com. He will get back to you within a reasonable amount of time and give you full moderation of the community.

Pax had 42,000 people pre-register + guests that showed up to pay the higher price at the door. Apparently the room The OneUps played in was twice the size of the room they played in last year (of course not all of those 42,000 people were at the concert; there are many activities going on that people are interested in) which resulted in a much larger crowd. Greg just called and said they played well really well, got a long line interested in Volume Two (so far over 150 copies sold + they have 4 more hours of "booth" time tonight) and the rest of the merchandise that the band brought with them. The band is pumped up and excited about their performance. I've been checking for someone to make a blog post or news post about the show, but nothing yet. Will post links as they come.

Will keep everyone updated about PAX as I get more info.

All of the members of The OneUps are safe in Seattle getting ready for the Penny Arcade Expo 2008 performance tonight. Tonight also marks the debut of their second album, Volume Two, which will be available for purchase from their website on September 2, 2008.

Here is an interview with Mustin, in which he answers a few questions about the band, the upcoming CD, and his experiences with OUS in general.

Mustin has been posting a track a day from Volume 2 to the OneUps' Myspace page. We're up to six revealed so far.

Also, new demos from the CD are getting added to the Music Player. Check out Terra's Theme right now - more to come starting Monday.

The CD will be for sale online starting September 2nd. The cost will be $15 USD plus shipping. ARE YOU READY?!
